Frank returns to its old ways, staging work in empty buildings…

Posted by Wendy Knox

From 2001-2008, Frank staged 8 works in various empty warehouses around the Twin Cities: a former munitions plant in St. Paul, the former Sears building on Lake Street, the Machine Shop at the A Mill, and others. With the upcoming production of Bertolt Brecht’s THE GOOD PERSON OF SETZUAN, Frank invites you to visit the vacant Rainbow Foods site on 27th Ave S and East Lake Street Oct. 28-Nov. 2o. Brecht’s parable of three gods who have heard rumblings that things on earth are getting rough make a visit in search of one good person–finding that person will validate that their rules are fine and they can go about their business. Shen Teh, the good-hearted prostitute, who struggles to remain good while everything around her conspires to make her fall, becomes their example. With a cast that includes Emily Grodzik, Patrick Bailey, Katherine Ferrand, Janis Hardy, John Middleton and thousands more, THE GOOD PERSON OF SETZUANĀ promises to be a fall highlight!
